Swiss chocolate workshop in collaboration with the World Health Organization – make your own chocolate while learning about food safety!
Come to the Swiss Pavilion on 7 and 8 October to take part in a workshop where you’ll get to make your own chocolate bar and learn about food safety, from farm to plate. Participants will meet experts and learn about how cocoa beans are processed before becoming chocolate and learn the basic principles of how to handle food safely. A short film will be screened and there will be a quiz with prizes for winners.
The workshops at the Swiss Pavilion are organized in collaboration with the World Health Organization, with the participation of Mrs Awilo Ochieng Pernet, Chairperson of the Codex Alimentarius Commission from the Swiss Federal Food Safety and Veterinary office.
Sessions will take place at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 and 17:00.
